The person who is supposed to be getting this package now either phones to arrange a re delivery, goes to the depot to collect or to the post office to pick it up (depends on what options are normal for the delivery service).

The Post Office at 11203 definitely intentionally lies about this all the time. I complained to the Postmaster of 11203 and they “claimed” it was the “anonymous” mail-carrier's fault and that they will “let them know” to do a better job next time....
