We choose to alternate between goat and cow milk depending on the time of year, to make sure everyone gets a break. We also make our own goat milk soaps, lotions, and lip balms, which are as good for your skin as ...

Kids will get enough immunoglobulin if 2.2 – 2.8 ounces per lb live weight (140 – 175 g colostrum per kg of live weight) is fed within 24 hours of birth. Overfeeding should be avoided because it may overwhelm the kids’ digestive system and cause diarrhea. The best thing to do is to satisfy kids’ appetite but not to force them to drink.

5 reviews of 2 Guys and a Goat Lawn Services "These guys are always on time, always do a great job and they do it at a good rate. Everyone they send has been extremely polite each time I have come home to find them in the middle of dong the lawn. They also have an auto pay option so their is no monthly check to write. That was always kind of a pain with the last neighborhood service we used.

However if the first baby is a hard birth then the goat may need some time to recover before birthing the next.

My goat gave birth to two kids 9 hours ago. First and second both kids were born perfectly. Ok so problems start here. 1. First one is so weak that it is hard for him to stand still. 2. Main issue is that mama goat is behaving so badly after giving birth. She is not letting anyone getting near her. Not even the kids or any human being.

I checked for more kids and could not feel a thing. I finished chores and went back inside to try to help the 2 premies. I kept going to the barn to check on her and the other does and kids. 4 hours later, I find this doe with a swollen head sticking out her back end. Had to fight to get it out.
