Admission and parking are free - as is access to everything available (6am-10pm). There is a State Bath House that would also be free for 20 minute hot spring pool soaks and a shower - but it is not currently open.

Thermopolis is more than the State Park, but it is the reason for the town and very worth a visit whether it is for an hour to soak at the state bath house, or to spend the whole day enjoying one of the commercial places and the rest of the park with the terraces and buffalo.

My favorite part of Hot Springs State Park is the free Wyoming State Bath House. 20 minute soaks are allowed (every two hours if you are so inclined). The hot mineral waters are a balm to the skin, muscles, and psyche. It's very quiet here, people tend to converse softly, or just silently relax. The view of the mineral terraces is lovely.
