I worked at a private practice for peds. Hours were 9am-6pm, with 1 hour unpaid during the day (30 min lunch + 30 min break) to make an even 8hr workday. I can't remember if we had 30 or 60 minutes devoted to paperwork and planning, but that means we had at least 7 hours of direct contact. Evals ran for one hour, and therapy for 30 minutes.

I work the same schedule. Mon-thurs 3-8pm. These hours work well for adults and kids and I mostly see kids and adolescents. I love my three day weekend and feel it is necessary for my own self care. I specialize in trauma so it is wise to take lots of time to decompress.
