The Lighthouse is a lovely, small, charming beach resort about 2 hours South of Dar. It sits overlooking the ocean (about a 5 minute walk to the beach). I stayed in the room above the bar, which was nice, but the bungalows below have the better view. The beach is fabulous- almost 3km of white sand. Super calm and no beach boys.

I mean, c'mon this is Texas where the sand is brown and the water is murky. Not the best fishing spot, mostly catfish but I heard if you come during the day you can catch trout.
