We had a really fun day renting kayaks from Kayak Shack. They were very nice and helpful. We rented two tandem ones so that we could go out with our kids who are not old enough to be on their own just yet. There are plenty of places to venture out; we were out for 2 hours and could have stayed out for another hour easily.
