Hours. The Butchart Gardens is open daily. These hours reflect the admission gate times. As long as you are through the gate prior to closing time, you’re welcome to remain in The Gardens for one hour after the gate closes. November 26, 2021 through January 6, 2022. The Gardens’ Christmas hours begin November 26, 2021 and continue through January 6, 2022, with admission from 3:30pm – 9:00pm and viewing until 10:00pm. General admission and 12 Month Pass Holder tickets will be available online effective Wednesday, October 6 through to January 6, 2022.

Allow three to four hours for all of this including seeing the gardens themselves. The cost is about $26 in US dollars! There is public transportation (BC transit - takes about an hour) so one can get to the Gardens and back for the price of a daypass which is less than $10.
