To avoid peak times, we recommend visiting between 9am – 10.30am and 2pm – 5pm. Tauranga City has a new rubbish, recycling and food scraps kerbside collections beginning July 2021. Households have a 140L rubbish bin, a 240L recycling bin and a 23L food scraps bin. There is also a kerbside glass collection.
