Oct 20, 2011 · You should not feel that you have to tip them. I never have and never heard of anyone tipping a retail store delivery person. Some are not even allowed to take tips. Do not tip them. You paid for the delivery along with the washer when you bought it. That is enough. If you pay for delivery, you do not need to tip them. That is wasting your money.

Come to think of it though, we tip pizza delivery people every time. Not sure why though, as they get paid too by their employer plus we often pay a delivery charge as part of the cost. Tipping is a bit overdone I think.
