Oct 07, 2018 · My reading of this is that the delivery report cost should come out of your SMS allowance That's interesting. This might suggest the delivery report charge only applies in rare circumstances – perhaps for corporate users. I checked my CIS for my plan and there is no mention of delivery report charges, or for that matter, delivery reports.

Mar 27, 2003 · Telstra has also not ruled out using the "receiver-pays" system for its Short Message Service between mobile phones. How dare Telstra even think of charging users for SMS they receive! It strikes me as odd that they can't stop trying to double dip. They already do it with their internet services, charging for both downloads and uploads.
