The bulb on my KDS-60A2000 blew probably in the 3000-4000 hour range. I think we had it replaced at around 2.5 years of usage * about 4 hours/day = about 3650 hours. Best Buy replaced it for free under their Performance Service Plan. We use the TV quite a bit, so it could have had slightly more hours on it.
