While Snoqualmie may not be a 5-star resort, it is a pretty decent mountain considering it's only 30 mins from Seattle. I was pretty shocked driving on I-90 to see the skiers and snowboarders just off the highway! I definitely prefer Summit Central vs. West, as while they may have fewer runs/chairlifts, they are longer and a bit higher.

Access is from the base of Summit East ski area, or from the Silver Fir chair at Summit Central. The area is open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, plus some of the holiday Mondays during ski season--but check the website for their hours on any given day.
