    I have litterally spent hours over the last few months sorting through piles of 2x4's. Regardless of how straight tthe 2x4 is in the store, after a day or two it invariably will start to warp. Sometimes the waroing is workable other times it is not. I am guessing that 1) the weight of the pile in the stor helps the 2x4's to stay straight.
