Steak House Satou is in Kichijoji, a town at a 15-minute train ride from the JR Shinjuku Station. It is a nice place to visit for its beautiful park, lively city center and many shops and restaurants. One place you should definitely try if you are particular about good beef is Steak House Satou. There, you can eat great quality wagyu (Japanese beef) at unbeatable prices!

That is why Steakhouse Satou in Kichijoji should be on any beef loving carnivores itinerary. Whilst they primarily operate as a butcher through a number of other branches, the Kichijoji arm in Tokyo also has a restaurant on the on the second floor above the ground floor butcher. When we arrived there was a 50 people solid queue.

Like the blogger said, due to the narrow streets we too had difficulties finding the place although it is just a short walk from Kichijoji rail station. We stumbled upon it after exiting the southern entrance (towards the rail station) of the Coppice Kichijoji shopping mall ‘A wing’.
