This year was my 1st time attending the State Fair. I was told it was the largest in the nation but it's actually 10th largest (or something along those lines) according to Google. Either way, it was massive & one day wasn't enough to see everything! I was at the fair for approximately 6 hours and I still don't think I saw everything to be seen.

The NYS Fair is HUGE and requires a lot of standing and walking. After 25+ years of going to the fair with young children, elderly parents and now a senior myself, I would suggest: *going in the early morning when it first opens up. *leaving by 1 pm. *returning at 7 pm, when the sun starts going down, and everyone is moving to the free concert area.
