Parking permits are required at Cove Island, Cummings, West Beach, Southfield, Dorothy Heroy & Newman Mills Riverbank Walk Parks from May 1st through September 30th 2020. TO ORDER ONLINE. For starters, The Stamford Recreation Services recently released the opening dates and lifeguard hours for the 2019 summer season. The Stamford beaches will be open weekends only beginning Memorial Day Weekend through June 16 and then open Seven Days a Week through September 2. Lifeguards will be at the stand 10am – 6:00pm daily during these dates.
