Apr 07, 2009 · The tasting room in St. George Spirits, in Alameda, CA The tasting room was bustling when we arrived, and we appeared to be the only group interested in the Agua Azul exclusively. According to postcards scattered on the counters, the making of this spirit was a real pain in the rear.

The Liquor: For $15, you can taste 6 of St. George’s 15 available spirits. Since I was there with my wife, our tasting guide suggested we split our tastings giving us 12 total. Which meant it was easier to say what we DIDN’T want to taste than what we did want to taste.
