The exhibition tends to be less busy on what we call "shoulder hours," before 10 am and after 4/4:30 pm. Most guests spend 2 hours touring the two floors of exhibits, so you could visit at 5 pm with enough time. I recommend pre-purchasing tickets on the Spy Museum site in case there is a wait (arrive at your time for little to no wait in the Lobby).

Formerly a fixture in DC’s Downtown neighborhood, the International Spy Museum has moved to a new facility in L’Enfant Plaza, located in the Southwest Waterfront. The state-of-the-art museum offers enough spy-related intrigue and interactive fun to fill an entire day. The museum is open from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. daily.

Espionage aficionados might want to stop by the International Spy Museum in Penn Quarter, which will host its final round of visitors in its original location before closing for a move to a new building. The museum is moving to a new dedicated building at 700 L'Enfant Plaza in 2019.
