Before driving to the Southern Ute Cultural Center and Museum, we first researched this place online. Their website has winter hours posted as Tuesday - Friday, 9-5. We drove several hours to visit the museum, only to find the museum has been closed down, with no notice of this on their website, no one to talk to at the reception desk, and all exhibits removed.
