We visited South Slough National Estuarine Research Reserve during the first week of Aug. 2021. It's approximately a 30 min. drive from the town of Bandon, with much of the drive (8.5 miles) on winding W. Beaver Hill Road (a left turn from Highway 101 northbound direction).
