Outdoor Skating at South Park Hours. Dawn - 9:00pm (with a green flag flying) Flag System. Green flags indicate safe conditions. Red flags indicate unsafe conditions. The ice rinks are swept and re-surfaced as needed. To ensure safety, the rinks are monitored and checked daily. Flags are posted to let skaters know when conditions are safe.
