Snoqualmie Falls was the perfect spot that checked all the boxes as it is just 1/2 an hour from Seattle and simply beautiful. We got to Snoqualmie Falls around 10:00 am and the parking lot was pretty packed! There's a paid parking lot right next to the lodge and then across the way is the FREE parking lot.

I really like this place because not all the items are "touristy" they have many practical things. My favorite is the jams and their pancake mix. Their pancake mix is my favorite in the world, they even carry them at Safeway's.
