Barr Aquatic Center. SMU's outdoor facility, the A.R. Barr Aquatic Center, is dedicated to A.R. Barr, SMU's legendary swimming coach. The center features a 66-foot-wide Olympic-size pool, four diving springboards, and a diving platform. The A.R. Barr Aquatic Center was the site of the 1990 U.S. National Outdoor Diving Championships.

Dec 12, 2017 · The swimming pool is located on Level 6 of the SMU Administration Building. The pool is manned by a lifeguard during opening hours. Poolside facilities include shower rooms, lockers and sauna. Pool users are to observe good pool etiquette and the rules of use posted at the entrance of the pool to ensure safety and hygiene.
