If you're going for more than one day, leave your skis in the lockers at Ski Apache, so that you don't have to drag them back and forth everyday. Another thing we noticed is that a lot of people only go up to the mountain after 12:45PM, which is when you can start buying the half-day lift tickets for $34.

134 reviews of Ski Apache "Skied here the second weekend in January. Other than the dicey drive up the mountain (the mountain road is steep with a sharp drop off all the way up. Guard rails are only towards the top) we had a great time. There was absolutely no wait for the lifts, so we were able to really enjoy the slopes rather than waiting on the lift lines.
