Oh yes, I meant to add that, if you were concerned about no weight gain then a dreamfeed will boost the calories, may also mean you get a few more hours sleep. At 6 weeks, a 6 hour stretch is more than reasonable though :o)

My six week old has been sleeping in 7-8 hour stretches at night for the past 3 weeks. I told my pediatrician this and she told me that at this age she should be sleeping 5-6 hours and then I should wake her up.

My little girl is 6 weeks old and she feeds every 3-4 hours in the day goes down about 11 sleeps til around 6am. I dont wake her I let her sleep. I spoke to the health visitor about this and she said as long as she is feeding in the day then just let her sleep. At the end of the day if she is hungry she will wake you.
