Fright Fest. Review of Six Flags Great America. Reviewed September 29, 2013. We visited on 9/29 (a Sunday) - the first weekend of fright fest. We went from opening (11am) to 7:00pm. I wish they would have opened a little earlier - since the kids had a long drive home and school the next day. First, I have to say the haunted houses were a let down.
