On May 31, 1976 Sijan Hall at the U.S. Air Force Academy was named in honor of Captain Sijan, USAFA Class of 1965, the only Air Force Academy graduate to be awarded the Medal of Honor. Captain Sijan's story is told in the book "Into the Mouth of the Cat" by Malcolm McConnell.
