The museum actually covers the military history of Korea from ancient times through modern day. The Korean War is covered in great detail and is traveler-friendly; most of the maps and video clips of the war are narrated in multiple languages. I spent over 4 hours at the museum and was only about 75% done when I had to leave.

The museum has a free coat check to the west of the Main Entrance. Coin storage lockers are available at two locations: in the Special Exhibition Gallery and in front of the Children’s Museum.
