However,the pier... is opened 24 hours and your pass is good from 6 AM to the following morning at 6 AM. I was very surprised with the number and variety of fish caught during my two trips there. Within minutes of arriving shortly before 8AM we saw a fisherman pulling a 23 pound king down the pier for an official weigh in.
