Hours almost has no meaning to me anymore on a 1996 Seadoo (basically the three craft I "manage"). My HX by far has the most hours on it.....but without a factory hourmeter thanks to BRP, I'll never really know. But given the HUGE amount of water time (almost 52 outings a year for first 2 years alone even 1 hour each would be 104 hours).

19 Posts. #12 · Aug 19, 2014. 3UP pineapple, base 900 HO model. Purchased June 26th of this year. Added convenience package, cargo net, and snap-in fenders. Also carry two anchors for different situations. Bag with rocks/sand if shallow and close to shore, and cooper medium anchor for deeper water. No ocean riding, just area lakes.

Yamaha and Sea-Doo are some of the best jet skis when it comes to how long they last. I would recommend purchasing a used jet ski or buying a brand new Sea-Doo Spark or Yamaha EX because they are the most inexpensive jet skis out there. Instead of spending $5,000 on a used jet ski, why not buy a brand new one?

How Often do Sea-Doo Superchargers Need to be Rebuilt? On the pre-2017 Sea-Doo, the supercharger needs to be rebuilt after 100 hours or 2 years, whichever comes first. After 2017, Sea-Doo has described their superchargers as ‘maintenance-free’, and only recommends an inspection every 200 hours.
