I've vacationed in Acadia since I was a child, and I was surprised to see that Schoodic Point (or Schoodic Head) isn't mentioned in the reviews or the park attractions. You have to leave Bar Harbor on Rte. 3, turn right on US 1. About 17 miles then turn right on 186 (Gouldsboro Rd) . Follow 186 for about 7 miles, turn left on 186 (Main St.)
