The kayak rentals are also located here and you can set up bus pickup. Lots of parking and there are public restrooms available."

The Savannah Rapids Park is a great 33 acre park for nature lovers and has been there for more than 150 years. They offer a playground, 3 picnic pavilions, bike/kayak/paddle board rentals, and miles of trails. I found the water views on the walk from the visitor center to the locks to be awesome.
