Savannah-Ogeechee Canal Museum and Nature Center has a small and modest visitor's center, with a small gift shop. When I went, there was a very enthusiastic and informative worker at the shop, who explained what there was to do and see at the site. If you are looking for a nice nature walk, this preserve has it.
