You pass Indian Reservations, Casinos, and small adobe huts to get here, but the trip is worth it. The easiest, and probably most cost effective way would be to rent a car at the Sunport. That way you can sight see in the area and take your own time at the Sanctuario de Chimayo. Rancho de Chimayo' Restaurante is just down the road, and well worth a lunch, plus I always visit Centinela Traditional Arts (weaving studio) which is nearby.
