The AAA Guidebook lists this park as a 'gem', and it is! Allow 2-3 hours or you'll be sorry. Wonderful interpretive center, the canal history and displays, nice museum, miles of nature trails and boardwalks-bring a picnic and enjoy!

In between the festivals though, it's a cool little park, with a ton of walking/running trails, I think one loop is over 5 miles.
