San Onofre. State Beach. The Bluffs/Trails area of San Onofre State Beach will be closed from 6am to Noon on October 30th, 2021 due to a special event transiting the park. Surf Beach (Old Mans) and Trestles will remain open, however alternate traffic patterns may exist. Please follow the direction of posted signage and Park Officials.

There are 2 campgrounds within San Onofre State Beach...the Bluffs & San Mateo. San Mateo is 1 1/2 miles inland and has a well-marked walking (or biking) trail to the coast. The campground has both tent camping loops and recreational vehicle loops with water & electrical hook-ups.
