The zoo is at the bottom of San Cristobal Hill. We ate some meat pastry thing at the restaurant which was bland and overpriced, but our dining experience was rescued by reasonably-priced beer. The Statue of the Virgin Mary on the summit of San Cristóbal Hill was dedicated in 1908 and is 14 meters tall and is 863 meters elevation.

The views of the surroundings from San Cristobal hill are simply amazing. One can also see some of the most expensive houses in Santiago from the top of the hill. The light breeze at the top of the hill makes it feel very pleasant. Certainly would very highly recommend visiting the top of the hill to any tourist.
