I’ve worked at 4 general contractors and the hours didn’t vary that much from company to company. Figure you are usually working something like 7:30/8:00-5:30/6:00 most days, throw in some late nights (or opening a site) or weekend work once in a while, and you can see how the hours get to 60+ pretty easily sometimes.
