If a mom is feeling a strong urge and need to push, I feel like it's wrong to go against nature and tell her not to do so. That's JMO and every situation is unique and different obviously, but for me swollen cervix did not result in csection and pushing against it even when it was already swollen seemed to cause me to progress MORE quickly!
