Once you check "Use PDF Report Server" in Email alert settings, Splunk admin and power users, who are able to schedule alerts will have the capability to check and will not be greyed out. Those who do not have role with the abiliy to schedule alert will have these options greyed out. Only dashboard has "schedule for PDF delivery" enabled.
