Mar 21, 2015 · Special delivery needs to be signed for. The OP states there was no-one in when it arrived so if the neighbour hadn't signed for it, it would have needed collecting! Items like that are taken to my Post Office for collection.

Literally minutes later I get an email back from the buyer saying that they have not received the item, to sort it out ASAP and that it is not there signature. The item has been signed for and a full signature (although it looks like a squiggle) is uploaded when the tracking number is entered.

May 07, 2011 · We have a customer who has claimed that the item has not been received but the evidence from the courier is that the parcel was signed for, albeit by an 'unknown' person to the customer. The customer says 'A signature is not proof of delivery as anyone can sign for it and say it has been delivered'.
