If the item would be delivered late then the person with the item must deliver it by going off the normal delivery route, try to deliver it and return to the normal route. If the item is not delivered by 13:00 hrs you can make a claim and delivery person will get an interview...

Feb 14, 2015 · Anything sent Special Delivery cannot be signed for by anyone not living at the address - if it is then you can take it up with Royal Mail who are liable.

Jul 06, 2010 · The difference with recorded delivery vs non recorded though is that it is a very brazen (or thick) buyer who claims not to have received an item if they have already signed for it (and they would lose a paypal claim which they would otherwise win)
