Jul 03, 2012 · When I track message delivery I get this: SMTP: Message Queued for Local Delivery SMTP: Message Delivered Locally to multiple recipients SMTP: Message Scheduled to Retry Local Delivery. I have also temporarily disabled the Anti-Virus software. Does anyone have any idea on what I am missing here. Thank you very much.

When looking deeper into it it stats “smtp: message scheduled to retry local delivery” about every 5-10 minutes. Could this be something wrong w/ SMTP? remind you this is me sending him and email with in the same domain so its not a blacklist issue.

Mar 18, 2010 · We ended up having to recover the entire HDD from backup. Since then, we have one user who can't receive email. Message Tracking Center shows "SMTP: Message delivered locally to [valid][/valid]" "SMTP: Message scheduled to retry local delivery" ad nauseum. This only happens with ONE user, everyone else can send and receive just fine.

Basically, the messages are stuck in the SMTP queue.
