When a sales order is logged & the user enters the requested delivery date, system 1st does the backward scheduling date. Pla note that the factory calender mentioned in the shipping point & route plays a crutial role in defining the working days & confirmed delivery date.

If this is the case, you can handle this by defining a calendar in the system for deliveries. Set the weekend days as non-working days and the system will automatically push the delivery date out so that it never falls on a weekend/non-work day.

System take the above input and propose the delivery date based on=0D backward scheduling or forward scheduling. if the order date is earlier than material avialbility date (requested=0D delivery date for eg.) then it takes backward scheduling otherwise it do=0D forward scheduling and propose delivery date for partial quantity and next= =0D
