If an item has more than one schedule line with confirmed quantities (for example, after an availability check) the system copies the date of the latest schedule line for this item and displays it on the delivery group overview screen.

In SAP APO a correlation calculation takes place for those correlation groups for which an ATP check is also carried out in SAP APO. If an OLTP-System (for example, ERP system or SAP CRM) is connected to SAP APO, the correlation calculation corresponds to the delivery group correlation for sales document items and BOMs in the ERP system.

If a delivery group is assigned for more than one line item, then the availability check will be re run to make sure that all the items tied to that specific delivery group will have the same (the latest of all the line items) delivery date, so that all items can be copied to the same delivery.Author: Jignesh Mehta
