Dec 31, 2009 · From both notes, the system logic is that the “Delivery completed” indicator specifies whether a purchase order item is considered closed. This means that no more goods receipts are EXPECTED for this item. If the delivery completed indicator is set, the open purchase order quantity becomes zero, even if the full quantity has not been delivered.

The delivery completed indicator can be manually set at any time. The manual entry of a delivery completed indicator overrides the automatic setting of the delivery completed indicator. You can set the delivery completed indicator in the goods receipt and in the purchase order.

when i order 6 pieces and make a goods receipt for 5 pieces and check the *delivery completed* box, the app MANAGE PURCHASE ORDERS still shows the status OVERDUE. However, in the app CHANGE PURCHASE ORDER ADVANCED it shows *0 PC Still to deliv.* as i expected.

The "Delivery Complete" indicator is manually set in the Production Order item when the Order is not fully delivered. Even so, system still proposes quantity during subsequent goods receipt using transaction MIGO and Material Document of the Goods Receipt can be sucessfully posted.
