After packing u cant delete the item in the delivery. follow this process --> there is a deletion icon on the right hand side of the screen when we do the packing itself, so go to vl02n, go to packing screen, there u can see the deletion icon, (a dustbin like) now select the HUs to be deleted, then click the delete icon, it will be deleted.1/5

SAP Experts, Any help would be appreciated. We have outbound deliveries with non-HU managed handling units used for packing. When we have reversed the post goods issue on a delivery we cannot delete the handling units because the handling units have a status of ""PSTD"" (post goods issued) even though the VL09 reversal was successful on the delivery.

You cannot delete HU from outbound delivery in a WM HU managed location. HU can never be dismantled in HU managed storage location, that's why we always assign a Partner storage location to HU managed sloc in configuration for unpacking. What you have to do is to unassigned the HU from delivery in this way.

If you want to delete a handling unit completely, proceed as follows: In the packing dialog, select the Pack material or Pack HUs tab. Select the handling unit to be deleted and choose HU - Delete. You can delete the HU in transaction HU02. First make sure though that you have emptied it and deleted any assignment to an object (such as an outbound delivery). Please note though that if there is no history attached to the HU, when you delete it, it will be completely removed from the table.2/5
