The Ryan Premises exhibits and displays are open June 1 to early September though it is possible to stroll the grounds year round. Plan at least a half day to visit the exhibits and take part in hands-on demonstrations, leaving extra time to stroll the town, harbour and wharf.

The Ryan Premises tells the story of the fishing and seal industry. The exhibits are broken up into four buildings plus Mr. Ryan's house, which is across the street. The buildings house some really nice exhibits, with some being interactive. The house, although nice for its time, was not furnished except for one room.
