Visiting times for all other visitors. Antenatal (St Catherine's) Ward - 10am-12pm and 3pm-8pm. Postnatal (Shere) Ward - 3pm-8pm. Due to limited space and to maintain the comfort of the mother and her new born baby we respectfully ask that there are only two visitors at a time, per bedside.

Postnatal Ward visiting With effect from 17th May one birth partner will be invited to attend Shere Ward from 9am – 8pm. They are welcome to come for the whole day or a part of the day but must leave by 8pm.

The Royal Surrey County Hospital has a Special Care Baby Unit on Level G, next to the Maternity Unit. The Special Care Baby Unit has facilities for you to stay overnight along side your baby should you wish. Furthermore, arrangements will be made for you to receive your postnatal care as a ward attender or in one of our maternity hubs
