We have been to the Ross Park carousel, exhibit and zoo twice in the 1990's. We are planning to go there again this week. The zoo is small and old, but we really liked the otters there and appreciate its history. The carousel has an exciting history as well. Much of it can be learned at the carousel exhibit on the grounds.

I am pretty sensitive to animal conditions, and outside of some of the reptiles being in too small areas, I felt the enclosures were adequate. This zoo is a member of the AZA and thus has to maintain certain standards to be included. Unlike another reviewer the tigers looked well kept and relaxed to me.
